I'm back from the chalet.With 2 days of fun.
Day 1:
i left my house at 2.15 as i was suppose to meet tong and the rest at pasir ris mrt at 2.30. I arrived in time only to find out they are still in simei(waiting for adam). Saw hui xuan so we waited till 2.45 before they came. Tong went to four leaves to collect a cake for the celebration of the company's 7 birthday. Arrived at chalet at 3.30 (took the shuttle bus at 3.15), booked in. Not long after tong's friends came. Since tong, johnny and hui xuan has yet to eat we decided to rent bikes to cycle to downtown to have lunch. We rented 2 bikes (overnight) and one tandem. By the time we got back the bbq wholesaler arrivedd. We check the stock and divided them into 2 portions as there were 2 chalet units (boss is a generous man). Where was buffalo wings, chicken satay, chicken kebab, salmon on a stick, herb mushroom, sambal stingray and garlic bread. We had cocktail jelly for dessert. Adam, imran came. we had dinner and with adam as chef and me the SATAY man ! food was good.. Tong went home to grab his PS to play at the chalet. We played the PS through the night till 5am before i head to bed.
Day 2:
Woke up at 10.25 as we needed to return the bicycles we borrowed the previous day. Tong ann's friends left as they have party somewhere else (i think). [Btw, friends are his classmates who worked with this company] Oh ya, apparently adam and imran left too. So there was only 4 of us left at the chalet. We continued to play the PS. The game started to get boring so we abandon the PS to play in the pool. Played frisbee in the pool it was super tiring cause everybody threw the frisbee everywhere rather than to each other. Then came kai tian ( i think thats how her name is spelt). We asked if she eaten, we decided to start the fire going and whip up a scrumptious meal for her. As the charcoal started to burn it started drizzling, however we were smart enough to bring the cooking indoors with charcoal on aluminum foil and card board to continue barbecuing. An hour into cooking i was left to cook my food while they clean up the place slightly. I had 2 chick wings and one chicken kebab on the mesh. With the food nearly done, I realised the smoke produced by the charcoal was a little too much, so i asked the rest of them to come and take a look and source out the problem. We found out that the card board was actually catching fire ! we need to act quickly, me and tong to lifted the mesh. I think zaid brushed against the mesh and my chicken all dropped on the ground ! The fire was put out but my chicken was totaled. The floor was dirty that i do not dare imagine the amount of germs that was infesting those 3 pieces of chicken. SAD for me... ): no chicken to eat. Thankfully the rain ceased and we brought the charcoal back outside. With 4 fire starters left i tried to start a fire going, only to fail. In the end we had to wait for the return of adam and the fire starters. More food and a cake we brought the previous day followed by more PS playing but ended with a sore thumb and and painful thumb joint for me. Was the first to head to bed as my left eye was hurting.
