Completed SubUrban 5km run today. It was an okay run, though the sun was a killer. It was uberly hot. Well, this run wasn't as good compared to the stand chart. During this 5km run. There is only ONE official drink station. Compared to stand chart, which provides every 1km. If i remember correctly. So thats the down side of this. Oh ya, there is also a finisher medal too. BUT they never state the distance on the medal. So regardless, if you run 10km or 5km the medal will still be the same. (i'll post the picture of the medal some other time, or when i feel like taking photo of it. which ever comes first)The weather was super hot, but thankfully it rained only after the race with a HEAVY downpour in fact. When it was all over, it was only 10.30am ! Didn't expect it to be still so early with so much going on. Had brunch, an apple pie and mango smoothie shared with my sis.
It would have been more fun and joy if you were there running with me.
