back from Vietnam. been an interesting trip. well 1st of all, the people over there don usually walk. most of them, well i can safely say more than 70 percent of people travel on motorbikes. so just imagine the amount of bikes that are on the road. crossing the road was a task to accomplish if you are there for the 1st time. Well there is a trick to cross the road. unlike Singapore where if ever we wanna cross a road where there is oncoming vehicle, we run. Over in Vietnam, people somehow have some sort of understanding for people who cross the road. All you need to do is walk. just simply slowly walk across the road, the motorcyclist will somehow dodge you as long as you keep walking forward and not stop in any way. Well the food over there is okay.. generally noodles as they specialise in noodles. they call it pho. Well the noodle is good in someway or another, if you are goin to Vietnam, don forget to head to PHO 24 to try out their beef noodle. Well through out my 5 days there, i've been living in this hotel called Mifuki hotel. although its just a 3 star hotel, its somehow gives the feelin that you are living at home. During the evening or the night they will drop by with some interesting night snack with some story. Their market place is interesting, its like tiong bahru. where you have food and market and sale of clothings and when night falls, they have night market outside the market place. cool huh ? Well on the 24th, the market place is bustling, the entire place is filled with motorbikes and people alike. you can even feel the vibration the motorbikes produced. as there are so many of them.
